As the year draws to a close, our dedicated team at ABC Warehouse Plymouth has taken some time to reflect on the past 12 months and eagerly anticipate our plans for 2025.

2024 has been a year of growth and celebration for ABC Warehouse Plymouth! We moved to a new and improved office within the same building, the Airport Business Centre. The upgrade has given us more space, brighter surroundings, and, best of all, daily visits from the local deer and stags – making workdays even more enjoyable. We’re also proud to mark The Una Group’s 20th anniversary, a significant milestone that coincided with welcoming several new clients. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported us this year!

We have provided first-rate third-party logistics (3PL) services and stored goods for numerous clients, including both large companies and small businesses from across Plymouth, Devon, Cornwall and the wider South West area. Whether they require Pallet Storage, Archive Storage, Bulk Storage, Fulfilment, or any other 3PL Storage Solutions, we are fully equipped to meet their needs.

Improvements to Our Warehouse Storage Facility

This year, we embraced a major technological leap by successfully integrating Boltrics software into our operations. This game-changing warehouse management system has transformed the way we work, enabling us to deliver even better services across archive, pallet, and bulk storage. A huge thank you goes out to our fantastic team for their adaptability and hard work, in addition to Boltrics, Mercurius IT, and Blu Square for their guidance and support.

Continued Memberships & Associations

We are pleased to continue our memberships with several key organisations in the UK logistics sector:

• UKMHA (United Kingdom Materials Handling Association): This allows us to stay updated on all aspects of material handling in the UK.
• UKWA (United Kingdom Warehousing Association): This prominent trade organisation offers a strong advocacy platform for the industry.
• RHA (Road Haulage Association): This trade association focuses on advocating for and providing advice, training, information, and business services to its members in the UK haulage industry. Their services include conducting audits, risk assessments, and managing employment contracts.

These memberships ensure we are well-informed and aligned with industry standards and practices.

Our Team

Our outstanding Warehouse Manager, Chris Foster, is taking a short hiatus to focus on his health, and we eagerly anticipate his return in the new year. In the meantime, we’re pleased to report that there are no changes to the rest of the team. We are incredibly fortunate to work alongside the same exceptional team that ensures ABC Warehouse Plymouth operates smoothly every day.

Local Charity Support

Also, we are proud to be supporting FareShare South West, a charity fighting hunger and food waste by redistributing surplus food to frontline charities. As part of our commitment to them, we will be providing free operational assistance and warehouse solutions, including pallet handling and storage. By leveraging our expert team and facility, we hope to meaningfully contribute to their incredible mission.

Plans for 2025

In 2025, we are exploring new horizons with plans to introduce fulfilment and logistics services. This marks an exciting opportunity for us to expand our offerings and provide even more value to our clients. Watch this space!
